"Both 1917 and 1967 were epic years in Jewish history and end-time prophecy.  Each involved the changing of sovereignty over the land.  Each involved those in possession of the land being forced to relinquish it, the Ottoman Turks in 1917 and the Jordanian army in 1967.  Each involved and came about through war, World War I in 1917 and the the Six-Day War in 1967.  Each involved fighting in the land of Israel.  Each involved the restoration of an ancient people to their land and to their ancestral inheritance...Lastly, as with the other mysteries and cycles, the connection between the two restorations does no necessarily have to repeat at the end of the coming cycle-but it is worthy of note." Pg. 272.  From Epilogue, Part 2 "One Last Mystery: The Seventh Shemitah" from The Mystery of the Shemitah.
(Coming Soon The Shemitah Continues)

Two thousand years ago in the land of Judea on the hills of Galilee, the Jewish rabbi named Yeshua, and known in the world as Jesus, said to His followers, “Mt 5:14 You Are The Light Of The World. 15A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do men light a lamp and place it under a bowl. But, they set it on a lampstand and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 So let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.”
Those who call themselves by His Name, the disciples of Messiah – bear this charge – they must be the light of the world. Light is an active agent - it doesn’t conform to its surroundings, but transforms them. Thus the light of the world must impact and transform the world around it.
If we are the light of the world, then we have gathered here to follow but one agenda, the agenda of the One who called us into being. Thus our agenda must be the Agenda of the Light. And what is that Agenda? It is to manifest the love of God and to fulfill His purposes on the earth. How?
It is written that “Mt 25:31 when Messiah comes... 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats… 34 Then He will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I wasnaked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’”
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take Youin, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And He ((the King)) will answer and say to them, ‘Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’”
The Agenda of the Light is to shine into the darkness of need. If we are the light of the world, then we must minister to the needy of this world – we must give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, refuge to the stranger, clothing to the naked, healing to the sick, and compassion to the prisoner.
If we see the hungry and do not give them food, then according to the Scripture, we are choosing to let God go hungry. If we see the naked and do not clothe them, then we are choosing to let God go naked. And if we see the sick and let them perish, then we are letting God Himself perish.
The light must shine into the darkness of man’s need and do everything in its power to fulfill that need, even to the giving of itself – as He who is the Light of the World gave of Himself.
What is the Agenda of the Light? It is to stand against the darkness. So we must speak the truth at all times, regardless of what is popular, regardless of what is fashionable, regardless of what is politically correct, regardless of political or cultural pressure, regardless of the opinion of the day, and regardless of the cost.
We have convened in the gathering place of the world’s nations. And we take note that nations and powers rise and fall. In the days when the Empire of Assyria towered over the world’s nations, the Word of God came through the prophet Isaiah saying: ‘They shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks.’ Is 2:4 Two and a half thousand years later, the Assyrian Empire is buried in the sands of the Middle East, but the Word given to Isaiah is inscribed here on the walls of the United Nations.
And those words are a sign to us that all things of this world pass away, but the Word of God endures forever, and thus we must never place our trust or stand on foundations that will crumble to dust. We must never follow the shifting opinions of man, but the eternal Word of God. We do not change the truth to conform to the world, we conform to the truth and change the world. And the very fact that the prophecy of swords and ploughshares inscribed in this place comes from the Word of God, tells us they cannot be fulfilled except through the Answer found in that same Word of God.
We must do all that we can to be a part of the answer, but we must also affirm that the answer does not come from man, but from Him who is the Answer. We affirm that it is the truth of God’s love that produces the works of true healing, true restoration, and true peace. And thus we reaffirm that it is our first and highest commission to share, to make known, and proclaim the love of God to all peoples, and all the earth as He commissioned us to do 2000 years ago.
What is the Agenda of the Light? The Light of the World came as the Messiah, the Shepherd of Israel. He wept over Jerusalem as He foresaw the future of His people, the children of Israel. But for most of these last two thousand years, those who called themselves by the Name of Messiah did not love Messiah’s own flesh and blood people, but hated them, vilified them, oppressed and wounded them, hunted them down, and delivered them to their deaths: Jewish men, Jewish women, and Jewish children - His family - killed in the name of Him who, for them, shed tears of love.
We must love those on every side of every conflict and we must seek the blessing and peace of all. At the same time, if we claim to be of Messiah and have no love for His own people - the people of His heart, then we cannot claim to be of Him.
In a world that has proven hostile and dangerous to Jewish existence, those who are called by the name of Messiah must, of all peoples, bring the love of Messiah to those who brought Messiah to the world and fulfill the command of God: as it is written, “Comfort YeMy People says the Lord. Speak kindly to Jerusalem…” Is 40:1-2 and He will bless those who bless them.
What is the Agenda of the light? It is to protect the defenseless. The light must protect the weak of this world, the oppressed, the afflicted, the powerless, the children, the unborn, the persecuted, and the broken.
It is written in the Book of Hebrews, “Remember those who are in chains as in chains with them.”13:3 Meaning: the people of Messiah must first remember their brothers and sisters who are bound in the chains of persecution.
More Christians have been persecuted, brutalized, and killed in the modern age, than in any other. Every year, tens of thousands of Christians are dehumanized, tortured or killed, and over one hundred million Christians live in the darkness of persecution.
This very body, the United Nations, adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which declares that everyone has the right to “manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance.” But then why is it that believers are being killed for their faith in our day, in our midst, and next to nothing is being done?
And as for us, no people can call themselves the light of the world, if they watch passively on the sidelines as those who share the Name of Messiah are oppressed and killed for their faith.
If our faith consists of how comfortable and prosperous God can make us, while we deafen our ears to the cries of those who are neither comfortable nor prosperous, our brothers and sisters imprisoned and tortured for their faith, how can we bear the name “Christian?” On the Day of Judgment we will be asked, “Why did you do nothing to save them?” And what will our answer be?
So as we sit on our couches in front of our television sets in our air-conditioned homes, they sit on the stone floors of prisons and we remember them not. They would say to us now, “Do not forget us in our suffering.” “Do not forget us as our enemies come to take our lives.” “Do not forget that we once lived on this earth and gave our lives for Him who was our Light.” We must not forget them. We must remember them. And we must help them, protect them, and save them.
When you did it to the least of these you did it to Me. So if we stand by and do nothing, will He not on the day of judgment say to us, “When My village was burned, why did you not help Me?” “When Isis came to kill My family, why did you not intervene? When I was tortured and crucified why did you deafen your ears to My crying for your help. Why did you let Me perish?
When that day comes, let it not be said of us that we heard the cries of God and did nothing to help Him. Let us do the only right and moral thing we can do. As it is written in the Scriptures: “Deliver those who are being delivered to death.”
And lastly, what is the Agenda of the Light? It is written in the Word of God, that in the latter days there will be a great falling away from the faith, and persecution of the faithful. We are living in the days that have witnessed this very thing: when western civilization is rapidly descending from its biblical foundation... when good is called evil and evil good... when darkness is called light and light is called darkness... and when those who remain faithful to the precepts of the Light are branded as dangerous or enemies of the state... and those of Messiah wonder if they should keep silent.
What is the Agenda of the Light in times of darkness and at such a time as this? There is only one Agenda. It is not to keep silent, it is not to bend, it is not to yield to the darkness no matter how great. It is the Agenda of the Light to do one thing, in season and out of season, in times of good and times of evil – and that one Agenda is… to shine. And in times of darkness, the shining of the light becomes even more critical.
These are the days of our testing. We must not compromise, and we must not fail. If we live in the day when the darkness is growing still darker, then it is time for the light of the world to shine even brighter. If the bad is going from bad to worse, then it is time for the good to go from good to great. We cannot appease evil, or be intimidated by the dark. We must shine even more so. We must blaze against the night. It is the candle that shines in the night that lights up the world.
And He has given us the power to shine. For we know that the power of God is greater than the world, and that by this power - the power of the Spirit - the power of hope, the power of goodness, the power of faith, the power of love - the power of God, we can do all things and overcome the darkness.
For when all is said and done, the only thing that will matter is that we did the will of God and we lit up the darkness. No matter what it looks like and no matter what the odds, we must always remember that in the end, the light is stronger than the darkness.
For over four thousand years, all the forces of hell, all the powers of evil and darkness have tried to wipe the children of Israel off the face of the earth. The Pharaohs tried to vanquish them. Assyria tried to annihilate them. Babylon tried to crush them. Rome tried to eradicate them. The Nazis tried to exterminate them... and the agents of terror threaten to obliterate them.
But… the pharaohs are gone, Assyria is no more, Babylon has fallen, Rome has crumbled, the Nazis have perished and the terrorists will be no more. They have fallen, they have perished, and they are gone from this earth. But… the nation of Israel lives – because the God of Israel lives –and the Messiah of Israel lives – and therefore you His people will live!
And His Word is true;
His love is everlasting;
and His light will overcome the darkness.
Therefore people of God… shine into the darkness. Shine against the evil. Shine against the night. Shine into the nations. Shine in this world.
Be not overcome with evil, but overcome evil with the Word -
for you are the light of the world!
For thus says the Lord:
Kumee Oree Ke Vah Oraich –OohKavode Adonai Alayich Zarach -
Arise and Shine - for your light is come – and the glory of the Lord
has risen upon you -
and nations will come to your light,
to the Brightness
of your RISING!
The Name that is above all names that are named in the world:
in the Name of YESHUA HA MASHIACH -
Jesus the Messiah -
Melekh Malchim – the King of kings,
Adon Adoneem – the Lord of all lords,
V’ Or Ha Olam – And the Light of this World!

Shalom! We’ve heard that someone is saying on the web that Jonathan Cahn is predicting an economic collapse/end times disaster on April 13, 2016 OR in May of 2016. It is of course a false report. Anyone who knows Jonathan knows that he would never set such dates, just as he has never set any date or time period when any event would take place. He has remained consistent in warning that America is heading to judgment, that the warning signs have and are manifesting, and the call is for the lost to find salvation, for the saved to be aware of the times and pray for revival, and for all to seek repentance and the mercy of God. God bless.

Jonathan Cahn Speaks at the United Nations: The Agenda of the Light

Shalom!  Here's our link to Jonathan Cahn's speech at the United Nations: The Agenda of the Light on 3.2.16

Shalom! Check out this Q&A with Jonathan Cahn from Daystar's blog. God bless!
From Daystar's Blog: We recently had the chance to talk with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn about the mystery of the Shemitah and beyond – part of the interview was in the March edition of the Daystar Partner Newsletter, but you can read the rest of the story right here!

Q: Can you tell us briefly what the Shemitah is, and why it should be important to us?
A: At least up until “The Harbinger” came out, most believers had never heard the word Shemitah, and yet it’s one of the most central of God’s commands.  Every seventh day was the Sabbath Day, but every seventh year was a Sabbath Year – called the Shemitah.  During the Shemitah, all sowing and reaping came to a standstill.  It was an economic Sabbath for an entire year.  And it was a financial Sabbath as well – at the end of the Shemitah, the nation’s financial accounts were wiped clean, all debt and credit was wiped away.  The Shemitah reminded the nation that all their blessings came from God.  And when Israel turned away from God, the Shemitah came back at them, not as a blessing, but as a sign of judgment.

Q: How did you discover the Mystery of the Shemitah?
A: It was when the mystery of The Harbinger was being revealed.  It came to me that the greatest collapse in Wall Street history took place on Elul 29, the very date given in the Law of the Shemitah by which the nation’s financial accounts must be wiped clean. And not just on Elul 29, but on the exact Elul 29 of the Shemitah, which only comes up once in seven years.  Then it came to me that the other greatest collapse in Wall Street history, the crash caused by 9/11, took place on the exact same day – and exactly seven Biblical years from the other greatest crash, down to the day, the hour, the minute, and the second!   After that, I began to see that the biblical mystery was even bigger.  It has affected everything from economic and financial collapses, world wars, global cataclysms, even the rise and fall of nations.  It was that which led to my writing “The Mystery of the Shemitah.”

Q: Is God bound to the pattern of Shemitah?
A: God isn’t bound to anything except being who He is!  I’ve always cautioned that we can’t put God in a box. He doesn’t have to do anything, and nothing has to happen on any set day or time.  At the same time though, it is wise to be ready for any eventuality.

Q: The most recent Shemitah took place in 2015.  Did the ancient mystery again manifest?
A: Absolutely, yes.  Though some focused on dates and the blood moons, believing something had to happen at a set time, many missed the gigantic picture.   The central template of the Shemitah as it appears in the book is not simply of a Wall Street day crash, but of a long-term collapse.  The Shemitah of 2015 produced the worst year for the stock market in seven years, or since 2008 – the last Shemitah!  It saw stock markets around the world collapse, wiping out trillions of dollars from Wall Street to Shanghai.  It produced 20% of the greatest day crashes in Wall Street history!  And as it appeared it both “The Harbinger” and “The Mystery of the Shemitah” before it happened, it decimated other realms.   It caused the collapse of world trade, commodities, the oil market, global production, the retail industry, profits, earnings, revenue, etc.  2015 ended up being the worst year for making money since the last Shemitah of the Great Depression – 78 years ago! And the impact of the Shemitah of 2015 has continued to shake the world into 2016.

Q: Where do you believe America is headed?
A: The Shemitah can be translated as “the fall,” and the Shemitah of 2015 saw a different kind of fall as well.  It was the year that America struck down the order of God, the biblical definition of marriage.  America’s apostasy from God has only accelerated, and the harbingers have not stopped appearing.  As it now stands, we are a nation progressing to judgment.  We need to pray for revival.

Q: Can you explain what the Year of Jubilee means historically?
A: Every seventh year was the Shemitah.  But every seventh Shemitah, or 49th year, ushered in a super Shemitah we know as the Jubilee.  During the Jubilee, the Sabbath of the land, slaves were set free, and everyone who lost their land or their ancestral possession was restored.  The Jubilee was the year of restoration.  At the end of the book is a chapter entitled “The Mystery of the Seventh Shemitah,” and it opens the mystery of the prophetic Jubilee.  This mystery has marked the time parameters of some of the most important events of modern times and end-time prophecy.  It not only marked the greatest shaking in world history up to that time, the First World War, but the restoration of the land of Israel to the Jewish people.  Then, it marked the Six Day War in which the Jewish people were restored to their ancient city of Jerusalem.

Q: What’s the significance of the coming Jubilee in light of the Shemitah year?
A: All of these things can cut both ways.  The Shemitah was a blessing for Israel when they followed God, but a judgment when they did not.   So too, the prophetic Jubilee was ultimately a blessing for the people of Israel, but a loss for the Islamic powers that held the land or that warred with Israel.  Both the Shemitah and Jubilee affirm the sovereignty of God over every part of life and that He is the true source of all sustenance and blessing.  For the world, it can mean shaking.  The Jubilee was, in a sense, a second Shemitah, extending its effects for another year.  On the other hand for those who are in the will of God, all of this can be a blessing – a time of freedom, release, and restoration. A time to be restored to what one has lost, to enter into one’s possession, one’s inheritance of God – a time of God’s favor.

Q: How can people experience Jubilee in their own lives?
A: All of God’s blessings are linked to His will.  The most important key to all these things is that you set your heart and life to be in the center of God’s will.  Whatever is not of God’s will, remove it from your life.  Whatever is of God’s will, get it into your life.  And as you walk in God’s will, you can stand on His promises.  And part of entering your possession in God is to fight the good fight, just as did the generation of Joshua.

Q: With all that we’re seeing in the world today, many people are afraid of what’s to come. What would you say to encourage them today?
A: One thing that was surprising about people’s reaction to “The Harbinger” and then “The Mystery of the Shemitah” was that they were encouraged.  It showed them all the more that God is in charge of everything, every detail, every bank account, every hair on our head.  In Hebrew, the word for safety is “Yeshua,” and “Yeshua” is the name of Jesus.  The key is to make sure your life is in Yeshua and in His will, and you don’t have to fear anything.

Q: Daystar is the only Christian network broadcasting 24/7 in Israel. What kind of impact do you think that has?
A: It’s a tremendous thing that Daystar is able to broadcast the word of salvation to the people from which it came.  I remember being in an Israeli hotel room and turning on the television set and the first thing I saw was Daystar!   Anytime the Gospel is proclaimed, it has great impact.  How much more so for it to be proclaimed in the land of Israel from which it came?  Messiah said he would only return when his people turned to him.  Getting the word of Messiah to the people of Messiah is a crucial part of the Great Commission, of end-time prophecy, and of the heart of God.

Q: Through Daystar’s “Loving the Land” project our partners can receive a deed for a square foot of land in Israel, preserving it as privately owned, agricultural land. How important is that?
A: I think it’s a wonderful project.  First, it’s a very special and unique thing to have a part of the Promised Land.  Second, the gift is going most of all to get the Word of God to God’s ancient people.  It’s a great combination.

Q: You have joined us for a Daystar Israel Tour and travel to the Holy Land often. What would you say is the spiritual climate there today?
A: There are more Jewish believers in Israel now than at any time since the Book of Acts.  That means there’s an opening.  Beyond that, I’ve found that many Israeli Jews are even more open to Yeshua, Jesus, than other Jews in other places.  Just recently a whole list of Orthodox Jewish rabbis put out a declaration saying that Christianity is of God!  It’s an amazing time.  We must continue to pray that their eyes be opened – that Messiah would come.

Q: What does it mean to you to see Christians standing by Israel and supporting your people during this time?
A: It means a lot.  For 2,000 years, what most Jewish people heard from those who called themselves ‘Christians’ was hatred.  In the name of Jesus, Jewish people were persecuted, hunted down, and even killed.  The enemy knew that when the Jewish people come to Messiah, his battle would be lost.  So he’s done everything in his power to stop that.  But now, for the first time since the first-century, Jewish people are discovering that true followers of Messiah not only don’t hate them but actually love them and pray for them and want to bless them.  This is the best witness there could ever be.  It’s a blessing for me to see.  How much more does it bless the heart of God?

Dear Friend,
Some things the media will not show you but which are crucial to be aware of…
Word for the Month & for Tues., Mar. 1
Scripture: Ps. 81:9
See Message: The Abominations
There are a few things the Bible speaks of as abominations leading to judgment - three in particular…
The First Abomination
The first was Israel’s sin of offering its children as sacrifices on the altars of Baal and Molech. The blood of the nation’s innocents cried out for judgment. And in 586 B.C. the judgment would come. America has committed the same abomination. Beginning in 1973, it has offered up not thousands of children as Israel did, but millions of them, killed in their mother’s wombs, on the altars of convenience and self. And America’s collective hands are now, likewise covered with blood.
The Second Abomination
The second abomination cited in Scripture linked to judgment is that of sexual immorality, specifically that involving the twisting of gender. America began driving God out of its culture, at the same time it began embracing sexual immorality, endorsing it, and then promoting it. Its descent in the direction of sexual immorality has been continuous, progressive, and intensifying in its twisting of God’s natural order.
The Third Abomination
The third abomination would seem to be the most unlikely in modern America. In Hebrew one of the words for abominations, “shikkutz,” has a double meaning – it also means an idol, a false god. As Israel turned away from God, it turned to other gods. In its last days as a nation, the images of these gods filled the land – and then judgment came. America has also turned away from God. The American gods are not called gods and the American idols are not recognized as idols, but they are so nonetheless. As the culture expunged God from its midst, it became filled with the gods of self, pleasure, sensuality, money, success, comfort, greed, sexuality, entertainment, power, vanity, and a multitude of others. But could the sign of foreign gods appear in America as the images of these gods appeared in ancient Israel in its last days?
The God of Darkness
This past summer, the same summer in which America struck down the biblical definition of marriage, an image appeared in New York City. It was seen on the tower which once represented America’s grandeur and stature among the nations, the Empire State Building. It was an image of a foreign god – the god Kali. Kali is the Hindu god of darkness. The image was created by projecting thousands of lumens of light onto the tower – light used to produce darkness – or as the Bible says “woe to those… who put light for darkness.” Kali is also the god of death and destruction. The face appeared with its tongue sticking out. This is because the god Kali is typically depicted as in a drunken frenzy dripping with blood from its tongue. Since The Harbinger came out, the harbingers have not stopped appearing in America. As believers, we would have to be blind to not see the signs of the times all around us. In a time of gods and idols, we must all the more strongly, boldly, and unapologetically stand for and manifest the only true and living God with our words, our actions, our lives, and our ways.
Stand as a light this month, and manifest the light of His truth, and the radiance of His love wherever you go, and in all you do. And May God greatly bless you this month as you do.

Your brother and co-laborer
in His love and service,
