The World Trade Center was conceived in the Shemitah of 1945. It began construction in the Shemitah of 1966, was built during a seven-year period beginning and ending in the year of the Shemitah, was dedicated in the Shemitah of 1973, and destroyed in the Shemitah of 2001.
